Overview

Safety Cases for equipment and systems must be maintained through all stages of the lifecycle of equipment and systems, including all phases of the acquisition cycle — from concept through to disposal. This requirement must be included in all relevant safety management plans.

The Safety Case Report provides the safety justification to support major project milestones and aims to demonstrate the state of safety at specific stages, identifying issues where necessary which may prevent the project moving to the next stage of the lifecycle – disposal in this case

The objective of this workshop is to consider the impact and management of the disposal phase of the life cycle within the Safety Case and Safety Case Report
