Welcome to the Home Page for the Air Safety Management Training (ASMT), a 5 day online training program delivered virtually by AtkinsRéalis’ experienced safety trainers.

The purpose of this page is to provide participants the opportunity to familiarise themselves with:

  • The format of the ASMT Workshops
  • The ASMT Home Page
  • The ASMT Course Timetable
  • Useful information supporting your learning journey

ASMT Format

During ASMT groups of up to 5 participants will work together virtually to complete the workshop activity, with support from the experienced AtkinsRéalis safety tutors as required.  The workshops will, predominately, be based on the scenario of the Voyager ARR Pod.

The workshop will be delivered virtually using Teams, with participants and tutors located throughout the country.  If you have not already done so, please visit our virtual test page to ensure you are ready to participate in the workshops.

On the first day you will be granted access into the virtual environment and assigned a team, which you will remain in for the duration of the course.  Each team will operate in a breakout room to complete each of the workshops, where you will be able to work collaboratively within your teams online area.

ASMT Home Page

The ASMT Home Page provides the gateway to the ASMT course material, with links at the top of the page to:

  • The ASMT Workshop Scenario
    • Some of the ASMT workshops are based on the development on the Voyager ARR Pod example.  Participants may wish to familiarise themselves with the scenario before the workshop.
  • Each Team’s Home area
    • Each team has a dedicated working area which provides relevant/additional information for the workshops and a range of interactive tools to enable participants to contribute simultaneously to achieve the workshop aims.  In most cases participants can also download a copy of their work for their own information.
  • Useful Info
    • Whilst there is no requirement to download or print information out for the ASMT Workshop, this page contains PDF copies of all presentations and handout material, and a few useful links.  Participants way wish to familiarise themselves with some of the useful information prior to the workshop.
